Get ready for an evening filled with holiday magic! The Whippany Fire Department’s much-anticipated Annual Santa Ride is happening on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, starting around 4:45 PM.
The night before our annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa Claus, Santa will embark on a grand tour through Whippany, spreading holiday cheer from atop a festively decorated fire truck. The magical journey will begin on the Black Brook side of town.
“We’re thrilled to continue this cherished tradition,” said Henry Hansch. “The Santa Ride is a wonderful way to spread holiday cheer and bring our community together. We encourage everyone to come out and celebrate the season with us.”
To ensure everyone can share in the excitement, the Whippany Fire Department will be providing real-time updates on their Facebook page (facebook.com/WhippanyFireDepartment) and through a dedicated Santa Tracker. The link to the tracker will be shared on their Facebook page closer to the event time, allowing residents to follow Santa’s route and pinpoint his location.
While the fire trucks may not be able to travel down every street, the Santa Tracker will help residents know when to expect Santa in their neighborhood.
For those unable to attend the Santa Ride, the fire department recommends visiting SantaLand in Denville, hosted by the Denville Rotary, for another opportunity to meet Santa and capture holiday memories.
This year’s Santa Ride promises to be a memorable experience for residents of all ages. Don’t miss out on this magical holiday tradition!
