The Whippany Fire Department extends our sincerest gratitude to everyone who joined us for our Annual Open House this past Sunday, October 5th! What a truly fantastic day it was!
We were absolutely thrilled with the turnout. From the picture-perfect, sunny weather in the 80s to the contagious smiles on the faces of every child who climbed aboard a fire truck, the community spirit was strong and vibrant.
Connecting with Our Neighbors
Our Open House is always a highlight for our volunteer members, and this year was no exception. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with our neighbors, share vital fire safety information, and give everyone an up-close look at the dedication and equipment that protects our community.
The day was filled with tours of the station and our apparatus, engaging live demonstrations of our techniques, and fun, interactive activities for the kids—all while enjoying light refreshments. We also appreciate everyone who spoke with our membership committee to learn more about joining our team!
A special thank you to everyone who visited with us and showed their support as we kicked off Fire Prevention Month!
