Rev your engines and mark your calendars! The Whippany Fire Department is thrilled to announce the return of our highly anticipated “Hot Rods & Hoses” event! After the roaring success of last year’s show, we’re bringing back the chrome, the horsepower, and the community spirit for our 2nd Annual celebration.
Join us on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, for a day filled with stunning classic cars, powerful trucks, and the friendly faces of your local firefighters. We’ll be showcasing a wide array of vehicles, from vintage beauties to modern marvels, and of course, we’ll be showing off our very own fleet, including our brand new aerial truck!
Exciting Update: No Vehicle Entry Fee!
This year, we’re making it even easier for everyone to participate. We’ve decided to eliminate the vehicle entry fee because our primary goal is to foster community engagement and celebrate our shared love for all things automotive. Plus, let’s be honest, we love cars and trucks just as much as you do, and we can’t wait to share our passion with you.
What to Expect:
- A dazzling display of classic cars and trucks: From meticulously restored vintage vehicles to custom-built hot rods, there’s something for every enthusiast.
- Meet your local firefighters: Get to know the dedicated men and women who serve our community and see our fire apparatus up close.
- Explore our brand new aerial truck: We are excited to show off our new aerial truck.
- A family-friendly atmosphere: Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day of entertainment and community spirit.
- Community Engagement: This is a chance for the community to come together and celebrate.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled to Sunday, June 1st, 2025.
