The Whippany Fire Department is excited to announce our annual Open House, scheduled for Sunday, October 6th, from noon to 4 pm. This event marks the beginning of Fire Prevention Month and provides an excellent opportunity for the community to interact with their local firefighters, learn about fire safety, and explore the firehouse.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone to our Open House,” said Fire Fighter Henry Hansch, Whippany Fire Department. “This event is a great way to connect with our community and share vital fire safety information in a fun and engaging environment.”
Event Highlights:
- Station Tours: Guided tours of the firehouse and apparatus
- Demonstrations: Live demonstrations of firefighting techniques and equipment
- Meet Sparky the Fire Dog: A special guest for the kids (and kids at heart!)
- Children’s Activities: Fun activities to keep the little ones entertained
- Food & Beverages: Light refreshments will be available
- Fire Safety Information: Handouts and resources on fire prevention and safety
