Randy Polo & Derick Shearer have been elected as Fire Commissioners and the 2015 Fire Budget has passed
We have the final 2015 Hanover Township Fire District # 2 (Whippany Fire Department) Fire Commissioner Election & Budget Results from this past Saturday, February 21, 2015 election.
We are pleased to announce that Randy Polo and Derrick Shearer have been elected to the two Hanover Township Fire District # 2 (Whippany Fire Department) Fire Commissioners positions, which are both 3 year terms.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce that the 2015 Hanover Township Fire District # 2 (Whippany Fire Department) budget has been approved.
We would like to thank the candidates Bob Cobane, Bob Johnson, Randy Polo and Derrick Shearer for their commitment to the Whippany Fire Department and their continued support of our mission. We look forward to having the two newly elected commissioners on the Board of Fire Commissioners.
The results of the election were as follows:
- Bob Cobane – 143 Votes
- Bob Johnson – 44 Votes
- Randy Polo – 175 Votes
- Derrick Shearer – 160 Votes
- 2015 Hanover Township Fire District # 2 (Whippany Fire Department) budget – 195 Yes | 97 NO
Additionally, we would like to thank Bob Cobane (Secretary) and Henry Hansch III (Chairman) for the dedication and time for their time as Commissioner as they step down from their positions and welcome in the two newly elected Fire Commissioners.
