It has been a long time in the making and the Whippany Fire Department was proud to move into their new firehouse on Troy Hills road over this rainy weekend. The fire department bid farewell to their firehouse of over 100 years on Route 10 in Whippany and marched up the hill to their new home for the next 100 years. They say it’s good luck to have rain on your wedding day, so the same must hold true for moving into new firehouses….
