Whippany Fire Department Commissioner Election too close to call – Official results will be posted on Monday, February 23, 2015…
The polls for the Hanover Township Fire District # 2 (Whippany Fire Department) closed at 9PM this evening and we will not have the official tally of votes until Monday, February 23, 2015 due to the outstanding absentee ballets that still need to be accounted for. The election was for the two open fire commissioner positions and the approval of the 2015 fire department budget.
We would like to thank the candidates Bob Cobane, Bob Johnson, Randy Polo and Derrick Shearer for their commitment to the Whippany Fire Department and their continued support of our mission. Â We will have the official election and budget results on Monday, February 23rd and announce the two newly elected fire commissioners.
