Get Ready to Shine: Whippany Fire Department’s 2nd Annual “Hot Rods & Hoses” Car Show is TOMORROW | Sunday, May 18th

The Whippany Fire Department is thrilled to announce that our 2nd annual “Hot Rods and Hoses” cars and coffee event is happening TOMORROW, Sunday, May 18th, 2025, from 9 AM to 1 PM at our firehouse (10 Troy Hills Road, Whippany).

After a week of rain, we’re looking forward to a beautiful day filled with stunning classic cars, powerful trucks, and the friendly faces of your local firefighters. Come join us for a fantastic morning showcasing a wide array of vehicles, from meticulously restored vintage beauties to custom-built hot rods and modern marvels. Of course, you’ll also have the chance to get up close and personal with our very own fleet, including our impressive brand new aerial truck!

This year, we have a special purpose for our event. We will be accepting donations at the door, and all of the proceeds will go directly to help the family of our dedicated member who was recently injured. Your generosity will make a real difference.

• A dazzling display of classic cars and trucks: Prepare to be amazed by the incredible variety and craftsmanship on display. There’s truly something for every automotive enthusiast!
• Meet your local firefighters: This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the dedicated men and women who serve our community. Ask questions, learn about their roles, and see our fire apparatus up close.
• Explore our brand new aerial truck: We are incredibly excited to showcase our latest addition to the fleet. Come and see this impressive piece of equipment in person!
