The  Whippany Fire Company has officially launched its annual Fall Fund Drive, reaching out to the community for financial support as we continue our mission of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors”.

As outlined in the letter recently mailed to residents, the volunteer officers and members of the Whippany Fire Company have had another busy year, responding to over 580 calls for assistance. Our commitment goes far beyond emergency response, with volunteers dedicating over 1400 hours of training this past year alone to ensure they are ready for any emergency.

The Whippany Fire Company is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on community donations to sustain essential operations. Your support also funds key community initiatives, including youth sports sponsorships and the award of scholarships at Whippany Park High School.

A Volunteer’s Perspective

The spirit of volunteerism is the backbone of the department. Firefighter Henry Hansch, an active member, shared his perspective on his decades of service.

“I joined the Whippany Fire Company back in high school in 1995, and I’m still an active member today. It’s challenging, but I love the mission of Neighbors Helping Neighbors. There’s no better feeling than giving back to the community that I grew up in,” said Hansch. “We’ve always been proud to serve and look forward to serving you long into the future”.
