The Hanover Township Fire Department is excited to participate in Hanover Township Day today, Saturday, September 6, at Malapardis Park! The sun is out, and we’ll be there from 1 PM to 5 PM, ready to meet our neighbors and celebrate with the community.
Our crew will have one of our fire apparatus on display, and we encourage everyone to stop by and say hello. We’ll be answering questions about fire safety, showing off some of our equipment, and chatting with kids and adults alike. It’s a great opportunity to get a close-up look at the tools we use to serve and protect our community.
This event is also a crucial time for us to connect with potential new members. We are always looking for dedicated individuals to join our team of volunteer firefighters. If you’re 16 or older and have been looking for a way to give back to your community, we invite you to stop by our booth. Our current volunteers will be there to share their experiences and answer any questions you may have about the training, commitment, and incredible rewards that come with being a volunteer firefighter.
Being a part of our department is more than just a duty—it’s about becoming part of a close-knit family that works together to keep our community safe. We look forward to seeing you at Malapardis Park and hope to inspire a new generation of volunteers to join us.
