Get ready for a festive spectacle as the Whippany Fire Department brings back its beloved Annual Santa Ride on Sunday, December 15th. Starting around 4:45 PM, Santa Claus will embark on a grand tour through Whippany, spreading holiday cheer from atop a fire truck decked out in festive lights and decorations.

This year’s Santa Ride promises an evening filled with holiday magic. Residents are encouraged to gather along the route to wave to Santa and soak in the festive atmosphere. To ensure everyone has the opportunity to catch a glimpse of Santa, the fire department will be providing real-time updates on their Facebook page and a dedicated Santa Tracker (link to come).

“We’re thrilled to continue this cherished tradition,” said Henry Hansch. “The Santa Ride is a wonderful way to spread holiday cheer and bring our community together. We encourage everyone to come out and celebrate the season with us.”

While the fire trucks cannot travel down every street, the Santa Tracker will allow residents to follow the route and pinpoint Santa’s location. The link to the tracker will be shared on the Whippany Fire Department’s Facebook page closer to the event.

For those unable to attend the Santa Ride, the fire department recommends visiting SantaLand in Denville, hosted by the Denville Rotary. This event offers another opportunity to meet Santa and capture holiday memories.

This year’s event is sure to be a memorable experience for residents of all ages.
