This blood drive is held in memory of Gary Letizia, a remarkable man who battled Leukemia. As shared by his son, Dr. Matt Letizia, the countless gallons of donated blood Gary received were instrumental in extending his life, allowing his family to create cherished extra memories during his final year. Gary’s story is a powerful testament to the profound impact of blood donation – it’s not just about transfusions, it’s about granting precious time and hope.
